Quotes On last week Wednesday my pastor, Rosalyn A. Cooper, asked all those believing God for employment to come up for prayer. I stood in proxy for my husband and not only did he get a job the next day, but he received a second job on today. Glory be to God! Quotes

Open Doors

Quotes On August 30, 2007, while I was at work, I was rushed to the emergency room after nearly passing out. They began to run several tests on me to try to determine the cause of my dizziness. When my blood work came back, the results showed that I was severely anemic and my blood level was seriously low. As a result, I was admitted to the hospital. I underwent two blood transfusions to stabilize my blood level to where it should be. I was then released from the hospital the following day and instructed to take iron pill supplements everyday and to go for outpatient testing since the doctors still did not know why my blood level dropped so low. They also instructed me to see my obstetrician/ gynecologist as soon as possible. When I went to see my ob doctor, she asked me to go for an ultrasound to check my uterus. Quotes

I know what prayer can do! PART ONE

Quotes My test results showed that I had multiple fibroid tumors growing from the inside of my uterus. The biggest fibroid was found in the lining of my uterus measuring the size of an orange. They explained how if left untreated, it would have resulted in a hysterectomy, giving me little or no chance of ever having a child. So my ob doctor decided to send me for a D&C and hysteroscopy procedure. D&C is a common gynecologic procedure to help treat abnormal bleeding and a hysteroscopy is when they scrap away at the uterine lining to remove whatever is growing and sending samples to the labs for further evaluation. Thank God none of the fibroids were cancerous but unfortunately this procedure only made matters worse. I began to bleed very heavy during my menstrual cycles and spent every half hour running to the bathroom. Ladies, it was a nightmare! Quotes

I know what prayer can do! PART TWO

Quotes So my ob doctor decided to send me to an infertility specialist for further treatment, since they knew I was trying so desperately to conceive a child. I went through several months of more testing until finally my specialist decided to do surgery on me, to remove the large tumor that was growing in the lining my uterus. July 18, 2008, I had the laparoscopic / endoscopy surgery done. They could not remove the entire fibroid tumor from the lining of my uterus but they did remove a large portion of it. Thank God, this procedure did help my abnormal bleeding and now it was time to focus on trying to conceive. Quotes

I know what prayer can do! PART THREE

Quotes My specialist began to offer my husband and I many infertility treatment options such as in vitro fertilization (IVF). But we knew we would not have insurance coverage for this type of procedure and there was no way that we could pay for this out-of-pocket. So unfortunately, this ended our visits with my infertility specialist. I was instructed to continue to follow-up with my ob doctor so they could monitor the fibroid tumors to ensure there were no future problems. From then on I began to cry out to the Lord in prayer. I asked the Lord to bless us with a child; that if it be even one child, I would be happy. April 15, 2009, after realizing that my menstrual was late, I decided to take a home pregnancy test. I remember it like it was yesterday. First I saw only one line but I closed my eyes praying that another line appeared. And guess what? It did! Glory be to God! There is no secret what God can do, what He's done for me, He can do for you! I know what prayer can do! Quotes
